1️⃣ Step 1: Review the Requirements

• Medical certificate (or ability to obtain one)

• STCW basic training (or willingness to complete it)

3️⃣ Step 3: Complete the Online Registration Form

Fill out the ETCA Crew Application Form online:

You’ll be asked to upload your CV, passport photo, and basic information such as:

• Contact details

• Preferred position

• Work experience

• English level

4️⃣ Step 4: Document Screening

ETCA’s recruitment team will review your application to ensure all documents are valid and complete.
If your profile matches cruise ship standards, you’ll be contacted via email or WhatsApp for a virtual interview.

5️⃣ Step 5: Interview & Training

Selected candidates will:

• Attend a short ETCA Orientation Session (in-person or online).

• Receive guidance for STCW training, medical exam, and visa process.

• Be connected to cruise line HR teams or hiring partners.

6️⃣ Step 6: Visa & Contract Preparation

Once accepted by a cruise line:

• ETCA assists you in preparing your C1/D or Schengen Visa.

• You’ll sign a shipboard employment contract.

• Receive your joining instructions (travel, flight, port details).

7️⃣ Step 7: Embarkation & Career Support

After visa approval:

• ETCA coordinates your departure and onboarding process.

• You’ll be greeted by the ship’s HR or port agent.

• Throughout your contract, ETCA remains your support contact for assistance and updates.

8️⃣ Step 8: Continuous Growth

When you complete your first contract, ETCA will help you:

• Renew your documents.

• Apply for promotion or transfer to other cruise lines.

• Continue your professional development in the maritime industry.
